To be perfectly honest, I usually don’t fully appreciate the contemporary books written (at least in part) by candidates and/or pundits. I always thought Hannity’s books were just a recap of his usual talking points from his show on Fox. I enjoyed reading Don Jr’s book triggered and many others, but very few rise to the level of Kari Lake’s “UNAFRAID.”
What makes the book so special is that you could literally open the book to any page and be impressed with her grasp of the issues. From the consultants that simply do not understand America, much less the people who live here, to the GOP establishment who consistently violate the very rules they themselves make, she takes them on. For those of you who think the politicians never seem to say the things that need to be said, you’re in for a real treat, Kari Lake says them. The book is readable, is loaded with tidbits and as I said above, she has an unparalleled grasp of the issues, and she explains how she arrived at the positions she takes. We certainly haven’t seen the last of Kari Lake.
