Young women love Zohran Mamdani because they don’t have a husband to love. The doting devotion young women have traditionally bestowed on their spouses and families has been redirected. As marriage rates decline among young people, all of that love is instead aimed at broad social causes. Young women are now more passionate than ever about abortion, social justice, and mass deportations. They are rallying about liberalism. With the election of Zohran Mamdani to Mayor of New York City, that liberalism now has a face and a name.
Mamdani couldn’t have won his race without the help of 18-29 year old women. 84 percent of them voted for the trendy socialist, while only 64 percent of young men voted for him. Exit polling also showed that young women also helped pull democrat candidates like Mikie Sherill and Abigail Spanberger across the finish line in their gubernatorial races.
Liberal politics are predatory. They make emotional arguments, which are largely appealing to a demographic who are notoriously emotional. Conservative logic often takes a backseat to liberal talking points. Abortion advocates cry “My body my choice” in an attempt to make young women feel like they have no individual rights. Social justice warriors will tell them that equality is empowerment. Mainstream media will post photos of crying illegal immigrants being deported in an attempt to show how cruel American border enforcement is. The left relies on emotional manipulation to get their base out to vote.
Many of these young women are also crippled by their student loan debt. Gen-Z has the fastest annual student loan compound interest rate, a whopping 6.72 percent. Almost half of all of Gen Z currently has student loan debt. The good careers they were promised by their overpriced colleges aren’t as readily available as they had hoped, either. With an increasing number of entry level positions being outsourced to foreign countries or completed through AI, there is less of a chance they will earn a salary that chips away at their compounding interest.
After being lied to about living in a fascist, intolerant, sexist society and crushing themselves under a mountain of debt, it’s no surprise that young women are turning to alternatives to alleviate the pain. The amount of young women prescribed SSRIs has more than doubled in recent years. As many as 29 percent of Gen Z women are in therapy. Young women are conditioned to be sad, angry, and financially unstable.
From here, it’s easy to see why socialism has resurged as a very attractive alternative. The feminist movement lied to generations of women, telling them that they don’t need strong men in their lives. Relationships have become feminized as the lines between traditionally masculine and feminine roles are blurred. A majority of young women have stated that they won’t date a man unless he goes to therapy. 52 percent of Gen Z women consider marriage an outdated tradition, with most stating it’s too expensive or unnecessary to their personal fulfillment.
The innate female desire for leadership comes from the government instead of a husband. Zohran Mamdani is the perfect face for a government that is desperately attempting to infringe on family life. He is witty, charming, and social media savvy. He’s great at appealing to emotions, with his willingness to publicly cry about his “aunt” proving to soft-hearted young women that Mamdani has a sensitive side. His promises of free bus fare and rent stability are incentives for them to place their financial futures in his hands. Young women don’t have to worry about social justice, because his minority status means he is the most disaffected and is therefore the most tolerant.
The destructive fire of feminism is fueling the liberal cause. Girls are no longer told to play house or to take care of their dolls. They have been told by teachers, parents, and liberal influencers that their feminine instincts are wrong. Their selfish instincts for endless spa days, brunches, and vacations have been labelled ‘fierce’ and ‘powerful’. They would rather have apartments and pets than houses and families.
Having strong male figures is an important part of limiting that damage. Daughters with strong relationships with their fathers are 90 percent less likely to abuse substances, have lower rates of teen pregnancy, and are less likely to engage in risky sexual behavior. Married women also report being happier than unmarried women, and having more emergency savings and financial stability.
Zohran Mamdani will not be the last socialist emerging from the ashes of the Democrat Party in the next few years. He and his socialist comrades are an emotional response to Trump’s MAGA movement. Their pitch is that in order to Make America Great Again, we must turn every aspect of American life over to the care of the supposedly “empathetic” socialists. Mamdani didn’t need experience or logic to win, because he won over the hearts of young women. If feminism isn’t exposed as a toxic, festering injury, it will permanently poison young women.
