I admit, I had very ill-informed impression of what the John Birch Society was all about. I should have known that any organization that promotes “smaller government and personal responsibility” would be ran through the mud as a ‘right winged” group full of fascist nut jobs. I found the “Blue Book” to be a longer than necessary read, but the extraordinary insights make it worthwhile.
The book is written in 1958 and contains some very potent information and projections. The fact that we have had people like Robert Welch (the author of the book and founder of the JBS) warning us 70 years ago that thee communists were taking over (starting with our kids) is actually unsettling.
We’ve done nothing about it. Nothing. Our backs are against the wall now. America’s young people believe they’d be better off in a communist county.
Woe is us… Celebrate the 4th of July today, for tomorrow we need to get serious about preserving America.
